Edo Period Jūroku-mai Harami Jingasa – Iron War Hat with Kutsuwa and Marujūji Family Crests EF5-3

€ 555.00 EUR

An authentic Edo period samurai war hat (陣笠 / jingasa), crafted in the jūroku-mai harami style (sixteen-plate riveted construction). Made of iron (鉄地) in a flat kasa (平笠) form, this jingasa features prominent family crests (家紋): the kutsuwa (轡) crest on the surface and a maru jūji (丸十字) crest on the underside or reverse. A superb example of period armor (時代武具), this piece embodies both practicality and symbolic identity of the warrior class. A rare and dignified artifact of Japan's samurai heritage.
